Butter is a lubricant often used in agricultural machinery maintenance, because it is sticky, some agricultural machinery hands use it as a binder, but you should pay attention to the following places not to use it indiscriminately:

　　1, piston ring. In order to avoid the misalignment of the piston ring during installation, some agricultural machinery hands apply butter in the ring groove to stick the ring, which is very harmful. When the engine is working, the butter is heated to form a jelly, which affects the elasticity of the piston ring, reduces the sealing performance, and generates carbon deposits, which intensifies the wear of the parts.

　　2, cylinder head gasket. When installing the cylinder, some farmers put butter on both sides of the cylinder gasket, thinking that it can increase the sealing degree of the cylinder, but the result is just the opposite. Because the temperature of the cylinder body rises sharply when the engine is working, the butter will quickly melt and lose, creating gaps and causing the cylinder body to leak. At the same time, the melting of butter produces carbon deposits, which accelerates the deterioration and aging of the cylinder head gasket.

　　3. Speed ​​governor. For the convenience of installation, some agricultural machinery hands stick the ball with butter in the governor bracket. In this way, after starting, the copper ball is not easy to separate under the action of centrifugal force. But once the butter melts and enters the crankcase, the oil will deteriorate and become unusable.
